Milton Keynes is emerging as one of the South East’s most compelling regional investment locations, with strong economic growth, a major tech workforce and long-term population expansion helping to drive demand for new homes.
The city’s growth story is being reflected at Eastbrook Village, Berkeley’s new neighbourhood on the eastern edge of Milton Keynes, where showhomes have now launched.
Delivered in partnership with Milton Keynes City Council and Homes England, Eastbrook Village will bring more than 4,600 homes to approximately 950 acres, alongside a 160-acre country park, four schools, a health hub, local amenities and major infrastructure improvements.
The launch comes as Milton Keynes continues to strengthen its position as a major business and innovation hub. The city sits within the Golden Triangle between London, Oxford and Cambridge, combining access to leading employment centres with strong road and rail links across the South East, Midlands and wider UK.
Milton Keynes Central Station offers direct trains to London Euston in around 30 minutes, while Birmingham, Oxford, Cambridge, Northampton, Bedford and Luton are all within easy reach by road or rail. Eastbrook Village is also located close to Junction 14 of the M1, supporting access for commuters, businesses and investors alike.
The city’s economy is being supported by a strong base of major employers and high-growth sectors, with particular strength in technology, engineering, logistics and professional services. Milton Keynes is already home to leading names including Santander, Network Rail and Red Bull Racing, while the wider city continues to attract new investment from national and international businesses.
In fact, Milton Keynes’ position within the Oxford-Cambridge Growth Corridor has been given further weight by the proposed merger between King’s College London and Cranfield University, announced in May 2026.
The merger aims to create a combined footprint across London and the corridor from August 2027, strengthening links between research, industry and government in areas including engineering, AI, robotics, energy, net zero and defence. With Milton Keynes located between London and Cranfield, the proposal adds to the city’s long-term investment appeal.
This economic momentum is helping to support demand for high-quality homes, particularly among professionals, families and renters seeking strong connectivity and access to employment. With Milton Keynes’ long-term growth strategy setting out ambitions for continued and sustainable expansion, the city is increasingly well placed for buyers looking beyond more expensive parts of London and the South East.
At Eastbrook Village, Berkeley is creating a new neighbourhood designed to support that next phase of growth. The development will offer a mix of one- to five-bedroom homes, with the first phase including 194 homes across apartments and houses.
A key part of the vision is the creation of a walkable, well-connected community, where homes sit alongside schools, green space, local amenities and everyday services. The wider plans include three new primary schools and a secondary school, a Community and Health Hub, a convenience store, a local pub, sports pitches, allotments and landscaped open space.
Nature will also play a defining role at the development. Eastbrook Village will include a 160-acre country park, connecting residents to open green space, walking routes and nearby leisure destinations including Willen Lake. Milton Keynes’ wider network of Redways also provides more than 200 miles of pedestrian and cycle routes across the city.
Stephen Kirwan, Managing Director, said, “Milton Keynes has become one of the most exciting regional growth stories in the South East. Eastbrook Village has been designed to support that growth by creating a new community with homes, schools, green space, local amenities and infrastructure all planned together from the outset.
“With showhomes now available to visit, buyers will soon be able to see first-hand the quality of the homes and the wider lifestyle Eastbrook Village will offer.”
The showhomes give prospective buyers their first opportunity to experience the homes at Eastbrook Village, from the design and specification of the interiors to the wider neighbourhood setting.
