Led by Cala’s Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor, Mark Armstrong, alongside Head of External Communications, Dani Coppinger, the session combined practical safety advice with an introduction to housebuilding, giving pupils an insight into how homes are built and the wide range of careers available within the construction industry.
Following the recent sales launch of Cala’s nearby Ascot Gardens development, located just an eight-minute walk from the school, the session provided a timely opportunity to educate pupils about the dangers of entering construction sites and reinforce the importance of staying safe during the summer holidays.

“Mark and Dani were fantastic at tailoring the ‘Stay Safe, Stay Away’ message for our pupils, making a serious topic both engaging and easy for them to understand.
“It was an important lesson for our children to learn, and we are grateful to the team for their time, expertise, and the positive impact they have made on our students’ safety awareness.”
