Swirls of pistachio cream and coconut praline: Christmas is looking particularly sweet at The Landmark London. From 25th November to 24th December, the five-star Marylebone hotel will welcome cult London bakery, Donutelier. for an exclusive takeover of its Christmas Shop, bringing lavishly decorated donuts to its North Entrance.
Taking its name and inspiration from a fashion atelier, Donutelier’s Christmas Collection combines the craft of French pâtisserie with light, airy donuts and festive flavours. Leading the line-up is Gilded Pistachio, with layers of pistachio crème pâtissière, praline and Chantilly cream, dusted with pistachio crust and topped with an almond sablé disc, while Coconut Snowflake brings a flurry of white to the counter, pairing coconut praline and crème pâtissière with Chantilly cream and a coconut-dusted biscuit.
Alongside the Christmas collection, visitors can pick up signature favourites including Vanilla Cookie Cream, coated in Oreo crumble; Vanilla Pecan, combining pecan praline, vanilla ganache and caramelised pecans; Rocher Gianduja, a rich hazelnut praline with chocolate ganache and gianduja flakes; and a classic Double Chocolate Sprinkles, with Chantilly filling and topped with a decadent chocolate cookie.
A selection of hot drinks completes the offering, making the shop a tempting stop after Christmas shopping in Marylebone or post work with something sweet to take home, too.
The pop-up joins an array of seasonal offerings at The Landmark London, from festive afternoon teas beneath the soaring glass atrium of the Winter Garden Restaurant to generous roasts at the Great Central Pub and a lavish Christmas Day buffet luncheon.
Whether warming up over a hot drink and a donut after Christmas shopping, celebrating the end of the working day or choosing a box to surprise someone at home, there’s every excuse for a little festive indulgence. The Donutelier Christmas Shop will be open to hotel guests and the public daily, excluding Mondays, from 10:30am to 6pm, between 25th November and 24th December. Prices start from £6.75.
