CUPRA has officially opened UK order books for the new Formentor VZ5, the latest high-performance addition to its best-selling crossover SUV range. Available to order from 9 June, the VZ5 represents the most powerful expression of the Formentor to date.
Extremely limited to just 4,000 models globally, CUPRA announced the launch of the model in October 2025, creating significant excitement as the VZ5 marks a return of the iconic 5-cylinder engine.
The Formentor VZ5 combines CUPRA’s bold design, cutting edge performance, and emotionally-charged driving experience. It’s equipped with an iconic 2.5 litre TSI five-cylinder engine, which is capable of deliverying 390PS across a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. Paired with CUPRA’s all-wheel drive system and integrated torque splitter technology, the VZ5 offers precision power distribution across all four wheels.
The styling of the VZ5 reflects its performance. Bold, exciting, and driver-centric. The new edition includes a distinctive front bumper, a front splitter with the engraved VZ5 logo, wider wheel artches, and a refined rearer bumper and diffuser. With copper detailing across the modes, the VZ5 is available in a range of matt or metallic colour options: Midnight Black, Dark Void, Magentic Tech Matt, Century Bronze Matt, and Enceladus Grey Matt finish.
Inside, the VZ5 continues to impress with ambient lighting, CUPRA-brand interior details, and the CUPRA-synonymous CUPBucket seats.
Priced from £64,495 OTR, the Formentor VZ5 will be on UK roads in Q4 this year.
