Omar Marmoush Tops List of Premier League’s Most Valuable ‘Forgotten Talent’ in New Study

A new study has revealed the forgotten talent among Premier League Teams.

The study, by BetVictor, analysed 2025/26 Premier League along with Championship data for the newly promoted clubs, to identify the highest-valued qualifying player from each team, with the final 20 were being ranked by their market value.

Outside the top ten, Aston Villa’s Tammy Abraham ranks 11th on the list. The 28-year-old centre-forward is currently valued at £15,317,640, having played just 279 minutes across 12 games throughout the 2025/26 season. Abraham made the starting XI 2 times and was substituted on for the remaining 10 appearances.

Omar Marmoush, Manchester City’s Centre Forward takes the top spot, taking the crown as the most valuable “forgotten talent” in the Premier League. With just eight game starts, and 13 substitutions on, Marmoush – valued at £42,549,000 – has played just 699 minutes throughout the 25/26 season.

Second place goes to Myles Lewis-Skelly, with the Arsenal left-back currently valued at £38,294,100. The 19-year-old defender has been on-pitch for 698 minutes across 20 games throughout the 2025/26 season, making the starting XI five times, and being substituted on the remaining 15 games.

Chelsea’s Jamie Gittens takes the third spot on the list. Valued at £25,529,400, the left winger has just 490 minutes on the pitch throughout the last season. Gittens played in a total of 16 games, with just five starts, and 11 substitutions on.

Fourth place goes to Rio Ngumoha. Valued at £25,529,400 – the same as Gittens in third place, the Liverpool youngster has 551 minutes on the pitch over 19 games – being picked five times in the starting XI, and being substituted on 14 times throughout the season.

Fifth place goes to Nottingham Forest’s Dilane Bakwa. The 23-year-old right winger is currently valued at £23,827,440. Participating in just 14 games throughout the 25/26 season, Bakwa only made the starting XI six times, and substituted on the remaining eight, working out to 552 minutes played.

Sixth place goes to Brighton & Hove Albion’s Charalampos Kostoulas. The 19-year-old centre-forward is currently valued at £21,274,500. Kostoulas featured in 21 games throughout the 2025/26 season, but only made the starting XI twice, being substituted on 19 times and playing just 353 minutes in total.

Seventh place goes to Newcastle United’s Yoane Wissa. Valued at £21,274,500, the centre-forward played 521 minutes across 19 games throughout the season, making the starting XI four times and being substituted on for the remaining 15 appearances.

Eighth place is Tottenham Hotspur’s James Maddison. The attacking midfielder is valued at £17,019,600, despite playing just 34 minutes throughout the 2025/26 season. Maddison appeared three times, with all three appearances coming from the bench – with the Former Norwich player failing to make the starting XI even once.

Ninth place goes to Everton’s Tyrique George, who is also valued at £17,019,600. The 20-year-old left winger played 353 minutes across 15 games, making the starting XI once and being substituted on 14 times.

Rounding out list in tenth place is Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee. Currently valued at £17,019,600, the centre-forward played 608 minutes across 24 games. Zirkzee made the starting XI five times and came off the bench for the remaining 19 appearances.

Interestingly, on average across the top ten, the average number of games participated in was found to be 16, making the starting XI four times, and being a substitute for the remaining 12.

Also, it was found that the top ten players were on-pitch for just 472 minutes throughout the 2025/26 season, working out to just 27 minutes per appearance.
