The Langley celebrates double win at the World Spa Awards 2026
A luxury Buckinghamshire spa has been named the best country house hotel spa in Europe, taking home two major titles at the World Spa Awards 2026.
The Langley Spa, located at The Langley, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Iver, Buckinghamshire, has been crowned Europe’s Best Country House Hotel Spa 2026 and England’s Best Country House Hotel Spa 2026.
The accolades were announced as part of the 12th annual World Spa Awards, which celebrates excellence across the global spa and wellness industry, recognising outstanding destinations, experiences and brands from around the world.
Nestled within 150 acres of historic Buckinghamshire parkland, The Langley combines the grandeur of a country estate with an extensive contemporary wellness offering. The hotel occupies the former estate of the third Duke of Marlborough, with formal gardens and parkland originally designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown.
Spanning 1,600 square metres, The Langley Spa offers four spacious treatment rooms, including a double treatment room, alongside an exclusive VIP Suite with its own vitality pool, juniper sauna and amethyst crystal steam room. Facilities include a 16.5-metre indoor pool, an 18-metre heated outdoor pool, open seasonally from April until October, and an extensive collection of thermal and water experiences, including a traditional Hammam, Himalayan salt sauna, salt-infused steam room, vitality pools, ice fountains, experience showers and heated relaxation loungers. A dedicated female-only thermal area offers further privacy, with its own vitality pool, rose steam room, sanarium, experience showers and heated loungers.
The Langley’s advanced fitness centre complements the spa experience with cutting-edge cardiovascular and training equipment, alongside Prama, an interactive floor and wall system designed to create immersive workouts. Together, the spa and fitness facilities create a destination where innovation and tranquillity sit side by side.
Treatments draw on internationally renowned beauty and wellness brands, including ESPA, Gentlemen’s Tonic, Margaret Dabbs and La Sultane de Saba.
