The Shard, the UK’s tallest building, will illuminate pink on the evening of Thursday 1st October to mark the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Visible across London for one‑night only, the display aims to raise awareness of breast cancer and promote the importance of early detection, education, and support for life-saving research.
Pink October at Shangri-La The Shard, London
High above the capital, Shangri‑La The Shard will continue the celebration throughout October with a collection of pink‑inspired experiences across its restaurants and bars, with part of the proceeds donated to Guy’s Cancer Charity to help fund vital breast cancer research.
Pink Afternoon Tea at TĪNG:

The hotel’s signature Afternoon Tea in the clouds will be reimagined during Pink October on Level 35, featuring a beautiful collection of pink‑hued pastries and seasonal treats served against sweeping views of London Bridge, the city and beyond. Bookings can be made here.
Pink Cocktails at GÅŽNG:

Perched on Level 52, one of London’s highest bars will shake up a selection of limited-edition pink cocktails and alcohol‑free creations, inviting guests to raise a glass to an important cause from a dramatic vantage point above the skyline. Bookings can be made here.

Weekends at Sky Lounge will receive a playful pink makeover, with pink‑hued cocktails, brunch spread and a show‑stopping pink chocolate fountain set against panoramic views of the capital. Bookings can be made here.
The Shard’s lights, which use energy-efficient LED units positioned across its top 20 storeys, can be seen across London and up to 40 miles away. The display will be visible to London’s residents and visitors, uniting the capital behind raising awareness of breast cancer.
