Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to make amends when they host FC Copenhagen in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Ahead of last week’s meeting with Chelsea, Spurs boss Thomas Frank said his players would rise to the occasion, but they flattered to deceive en route to a meek 1-0 defeat.
The Lilywhites were booed off the N17 pitch after registering their lowest-ever expected goals total on record in a Premier League match.
The Tottenham faithful will now expect a much better result against Copenhagen, who are winless after three Champions League games.
Frank’s charges currently sit 15th in the table after one win and two draws, while their Danish opponents are 32nd after picking up just one point thus far.
Tottenham team news vs FC Copenhagen
Frank has confirmed that Lucas Bergvall is out after suffering a concussion against Chelsea, with the Swede set to miss at least two matches.
Mohammed Kudus and Djed Spence picked up knocks on the weekend, but both should be okay to feature in midweek.
James Maddison, Yves Bissouma, Dominic Solanke, Radu Dragusin, Dejan Kulusevski, Ben Davies, Kota Takai and Archie Gray all remain on the sidelines.
In addition, Mathys Tel is ineligible to play in the fixture.

Gazette result prediction
Tottenham have not been faring particularly well at present, save for the 3-0 win over Everton on 26 October, but they should have enough to see off Copenhagen.
It’s unlikely to be an entertaining game, but Spurs have been solid when it comes to set pieces, scoring five in the Premier League.
Copenhagen will likely play for a draw, but Tottenham’s set-piece prowess should see them over the line.
Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Copenhagen
