Volkswagen Group UK and VWFS Team Up to Sponsor MK Pride Festival in Milton Keynes

For the sixth year running, Volkswagen Group UK (VWG) is proud to be sponsoring MK Pride Festival. It’s teaming up with sister company, Volkswagen Financial Services UK (VWFS), to be named ‘official automotive partners’ as the companies work together to support this exciting event. MK Pride takes place at Campbell Park in VWG/VWFS’s home city of Milton Keynes from 12 noon on Saturday 12 September. It’s free to enter but you need to register for tickets in advance here.

As official automotive partners, it’s only right VWG will be showcasing some stunning vehicles. These will include the head-turning ID. Buzz in its Pride wrap, and Tiny Buzz riding alongside; while VWFS will be debuting Drive, a VWFS-backed initiative designed to make it easier for customers to find, finance and drive their next vehicle (www.drive.co.uk).

There will be a range of fun surprises on the stand, as well as the chance to talk to colleagues from VWG and VWFS. Not only can attendees find out what it’s like to work for the UK’s leading automotive group, they can also discuss how we foster an environment where everyone belongs.

Jamie Hanna, co-chair of VWG’s We Drive Proud Employee Network Group, said: “We’re really excited to be returning to MK Pride again in 2026. At a time when some organisations are toning down their DEI activities, I’m pleased our award-winning initiatives are going from strength to strength.

“Teaming up with VWFS allows us to showcase even more opportunities and share with local people what it’s like to be part of the Volkswagen Group family. And everyone on our stand is volunteering to be there so you can guarantee an honest and open conversation!”

The festival benefits the local community through providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ people. It also contributes to local projects ranging from educational development programmes to youth groups and Q:Alliance, a local LGBTQ+ charity. Above all, it’s about people and community.
