South coast and London law firm Ellis Jones Solicitors has strengthened its Business Services team with the appointment of new Partner Sing Li.
Sing has joined the 182-strong law firm with 13 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, giving clear and commercially focused support to businesses, investors, entrepreneurs and management teams.
At Ellis Jones he will continue to provide advice on complex commercial arrangements and contracts, corporate transactions and strategic business matters – including business and corporate governance, debt and equity investments, group restructurings, mergers & acquisitions and exit strategies.
Sing’s appointment marks a milestone as Ellis Jones reaches a record 26 Partners and as it relocates to a new London office at the end of the Strand in Fleet Street, directly across from the Royal Courts of Justice and the Central London County Court.

Sing worked with law firms in London and the home counties, most recently as a Legal Director, before joining Ellis Jones.
He has advised on transactions and often very niche and complex commercial contracts across international boundaries as well as in London and the UK.
His recent cases have included advising majority shareholders on the sale of a specialist dangerous goods and hazardous consignments business to an Italian global healthcare logistics group as well as advising a global aerospace, defence and advanced systems manufacturer which is part of a multinational group on complex commercial agreements involving the supply of proprietary technology.

Sing, who lives in North London, is a keen hiker and runner with numerous fundraisers for charity under his belt. They have included multiple Three Peaks Challenges, running marathons and taking part in a Jurassic Coastal trek.
He is looking forward to getting involved in Ellis Jones’ charitable events and corporate social responsibility activities.
