A primary school in South Oxhey has boosted its digital learning resources thanks to a £1,000 donation from Taylor Wimpey North Thames, enabling it to purchase 10 new Chromebooks for its pupils.
The housebuilder’s donation to Oxhey Wood Primary School, which is just around the corner from its Little Furze Place development in South Oxhey, was put towards the school’s fundraiser for new equipment.
Pooja Divecha, IT Lead at Oxhey Wood Primary School, said: “Thank you to Taylor Wimpey for the generous donation which has enabled us to purchase 10 new Chromebooks for our pupils.
“This contribution will directly support pupils’ access to digital learning, helping to close gaps in technology access and equipping children with the skills they need for the future.”
Rozita Gharavi, Sales & Marketing Manager for Taylor Wimpey North Thames, said: “Supporting education is an important part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the South Oxhey community surrounding Little Furze Place.
“We hope that this donation will help provide Oxhey Wood Primary School pupils with the equipment they need to receive the best education possible while also furthering their technology skills, which are essential in the modern age.”
