McLaren Automotive Appoints David Woodhouse as Chief Creative Officer

  • David Woodhouse to provide creative oversight across product, brand, environments and experiences
  • New role designed to strengthen creative alignment across the McLaren brand

McLaren Automotive today announces the appointment of David Woodhouse as Chief Creative Officer. David joins McLaren Automotive’s Executive Leadership Team and will be responsible for driving creative excellence and consistency across every expression of the McLaren brand.

David brings extensive experience shaping and elevating some of the world’s most recognised automotive and luxury brands through design. In his new role, he will provide creative oversight across vehicle and product design direction, brand identity, communications, retail environments, partnerships and licensed products, ensuring that every customer touchpoint reflects a clear, elevated and unmistakably McLaren experience.

Working closely with Kemal Curic, who continues to lead vehicle design, and Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, who retains responsibility for brand and marketing execution, David will help create greater alignment across the business through a single creative vision.

“The opportunity to help shape and elevate every aspect of how the McLaren brand is expressed, from our products and spaces to our communications and experiences, is incredibly compelling. McLaren has an extraordinary heritage and a bold ambition, and I look forward to working with the talented teams across the business to create a cohesive and world-class brand experience that is unmistakably McLaren.”

David Woodhouse, Chief Creative Officer, McLaren Automotive.
