Bluewater Unveils First Look at ‘The Monster’ Inflatable Obstacle Course

Bluewater has unveiled an exciting first glimpse at The Monster, one of the world’s largest inflatable obstacle courses, ahead of its highly anticipated public opening this Saturday 18th July.

Located in The Village car park, The Monster has transformed the area around Bluewater into the ultimate playground with 300 metres of inflatable madness. Filled with more than 40 obstacles including the 18-metre Mayhem Mega Slide, the chaotic Chaos Climb and the infamous Tumble Tunnel, The Monster guarantees an unforgettable experience for all ages*.

Following sold-out tours across Canada, USA, Mexico and Abu Dhabi, this will be the first time The Monster has appeared in Kent and is set to be one of the biggest events Bluewater has ever hosted.

The Monster will be open daily from 10am to 9pm, with guests able to complete as many laps of the course as they’d like during their 60-minute session.

The daily sessions are:

  • 10am–11am – Quiet Sessions offering all the bounce without the noise. These lower-capacity sessions are capped at 100 guests and run without music or announcements. Ideal for guests who prefer a more relaxed environment.
  • 11am–7pm – All Ages Sessions, with party music, lighting effects and videoclips on the giant screen, plus festival-style food and drinks, and entertainment zones open all day.
  • 7pm–9pm – Adults Only Sessions**, with DJs taking to the stage Thursdays to Sundays for interactive karaoke, plus a full bar, late-night food and festival vibes.
  • Selected Saturdays will see The Monster’s surrounding arena reimagined as a high-energy foam party, with a dedicated 7–8pm Adults Only slot combining DJs, karaoke and immersive foam effects.

Whether taking on The Monster or cheering from the sidelines, guests can enjoy a lively summer event arena featuring: DJs, street food and drink vendors including a fully stocked bar, giant games such as Jenga and Connect 4, Monster Ping-Pong, a chalk graffiti wall, mega-screen entertainment and a buzzing festival atmosphere. General Admission tickets include a full hour on The Monster with unlimited laps, plus all-day access to the event arena, while Spectator tickets offer unlimited time to soak up the atmosphere without taking on the inflatable course.

James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, commented: “We’re thrilled to unveil a first look at The Monster ahead of its official opening at Bluewater this weekend.

“It’s an incredible attraction, and we can’t wait to welcome guests throughout the summer to experience everything it has to offer — from the 300‑metre inflatable obstacle course to the full line‑up of entertainment in the event arena.

“Tickets are already selling fast, so we are urging people to book their visits sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment!”

General admission tickets are priced at £18 each, or £15 each for group bookings of more than eight people. A booking fee is payable per ticket. Tickets for spectators are priced at £3 each, which permits entry into the entertainment space but not access to The Monster inflatable obstacle course. Children must be aged five years and at least one metre tall to participate, while under 4s can spectate free of charge.

Members of Bluewater’s rewards programme, PLUS+, will receive a reduced general admission ticket price of £15 per person.

The Monster is located in The Village car park, in the same location as Winterland. Tickets can be purchased from https://tickets.bluewater.co.uk/

*Children must be aged five years and at least one metre tall to participate.

**Adult sessions are for guests aged 16+.
