(Crewe, 27 May 2026)Â Bentley customers are increasingly stepping beyond the permutations of colour and finish of the standard range into the world of bespoke individuality offered by the Mulliner division. These can range from one-off paint finishes or personalised embroidered emblems through to complete coachbuilt vehicles. More than 70 per cent of customers now order their Bentleys with some level of Mulliner bespoke content, and the division is on a constant quest to find new features to delight and inspire its customers.
Ombré by Mulliner – extended range
First shown at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering in 2025, the innovative Ombré by Mulliner exterior finishes take two technicians 56 hours of painstaking work to create a seamless transition between two complementary colours. The finish was originally offered with three transitional combinations: Topaz Blue to Windsor Blue, Sunburst Gold to Orange Flame, and Tungsten into Onyx.
Now Mulliner is extending the range of finishes to eight, with the addition of Alpine Green into Verdant, Cricketball into Black Velvet, Pale Brodgar into Brodgar, Portofino into Marlin and Grey Violet into Damson.
Each of these finishes can now be matched to its equivalent interior Piano veneer, creating a seamless transition of colour flowing from the fascia into the door waistrails.
Accent on performance
Bentley models such as the Continental GT S and GTC S, the limited edition Supersports, and Speed models are aimed squarely at the performance focused driver, and Mulliner’s new racing stripe perfectly complements their dynamic character. The stripe features two colours; one broad central stripe flanked by two contrasting thinner stripes. The stripe extends from the Bentley wings on the bonnet back across the roof (with the exception of the Continental GT Convertible) and finishes at the rear spoiler.
Expressions of individuality
Mulliner’s interior options cover everything from bespoke stitching and embroidery to open pore wood veneers and even wafer-thin veneers of stone, all executed with meticulous craftsmanship. As well as the new Ombré piano veneers, the latest portfolio includes a new technical finish in metal for the centre console on the GT and GTC. Named ‘Wave’, the finish features a repeating intertwined ribbon motif that creates an eye-catching and tactile focal point.
Mulliner customers can select to have their own motifs or designs laser etched on the fascia, retaining the natural finish and smooth tactile surface of the veneers. This feature is available for all open pore wood veneer and high gloss veneers as well as satin finish carbon fibre and technical finishes.
Also new for 2026 are two Mulliner welcome lamp animations, though customers can of course create their own bespoke fixed illuminations.
