Wagamama is launching a major new menu evolution this summer, introducing 26 new dishes and drinks designed to reflect changing guest habits, flavour trends and demand for greater flexibility and inclusivity.
Landing in restaurants and on delivery platforms from 17 June 2026, the new menu builds on wagamama’s Food Is Life platform, bringing the brand’s focus back to what it does best – bold, freshly made, nourishing dishes designed for every moment of the day.
The launch spans an ambitious new lunchtime offering, expanded gluten-free range and a seasonal menu inspired by vibrant East Asian flavours, with gochujang, seafood and fresh, balanced ingredients shaping much of the innovation.
At the centre of the launch is a completely reimagined lunch experience, created to meet growing demand for high-quality, convenient meals.
Available Monday to Friday from 11am–3pm, the new lunch dishes are available in restaurants or can be enjoyed at home or in the office via delivery. wagamama will also continue to offer its popular main and drink lunch bundle for £14 when dining in.
For the first time, wagamama has transformed some of its most iconic dishes into portable lunch formats, including the new chicken katsu wrap and yasai ramen wrap, both served with signature dipping sauces inspired by the original dishes.
The brand is also introducing a trio of new lunch boxes designed to deliver bold flavour and convenience without compromise. Options include the miso k-chicken lunch box, miso cauliflower lunch box and nasi goreng lunch box.
Alongside the lunch innovation, wagamama’s summer menu introduces several new seasonal dishes shaped by guest appetite for brighter flavours and premium ingredients.
New dishes include: chicken + prawn turmeric rice bowl – chicken, prawn, turmeric rice, edamame, radish, spring onion, pineapple salsa, tea-stained egg, shichimi
gochujang salmon rice bowl – spicy gochujang sauce, pickled red cabbage, teriyaki kale + spinach, asian slaw, spring onion, lime, sesame seeds, white rice.
signature seafood ramen – charred butterfly king prawns + tender squid, marinated in gochujang + miso, clams, salmon fillets topped with crispy onions and chilli, yuzu broth, rice noodles, pea shoots + samphire.
The drinks menu has also been refreshed with trend-led additions including a matcha colada – a blend of matcha, pineapple, coconut milk and apple – designed to complement the lighter summer direction of the food menu.
Inclusivity continues to be a major focus for the brand, with wagamama significantly expanding its gluten-free offering through 12 new dishes. The additions include gluten-free versions of guest favourites such as chicken, prawn or tofu firecracker and grilled duck donburi, alongside new dishes including spicy smashed cucumber and chicken + prawn turmeric rice bowl.
Claire Farrant, Chief Marketing Officer at wagamama, said:
“Our summer and lunch menu brings together the flavours guests already love with fresh new dishes perfect for long summer days and quick, fresh lunches.
“From vibrant summer bowls and speedy lunch options to sticky, spicy sides and refreshing juices, every addition is designed to deliver bold flavour, freshness and flexibility.
“We know guests want quality, value and variety at lunchtime, so alongside our new express lunch options, we’re continuing to offer our lunch deal – a main and drink for £14 when dining in.”
The new menu rollout marks the latest evolution of wagamama’s Food Is Life campaign, which celebrates the role food plays in everyday life, from quick lunches and solo moments to shared occasions and social connection.
