Last night, diamond-certified global superstar The Weeknd concluded a sold-out five-night run at London’s Wembley Stadium, marking his seventh and final UK performance this summer as part of his record-breaking After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour. The 2026 EU/UK leg kicked off in June with two shows in Manchester, with The Weeknd’s UK performances this summer drawing more than 450,000 fans, including ticket buyers from nearly 150 countries.
The Weeknd performed at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on June 11 and 12 before returning to the UK for five nights at Wembley Stadium on August 14, 15, 16, 18 and 19. Across the seven performances, the UK shows also raised more than $350,000 USD in charitable donations for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and Global Citizen.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan spoke to The Weeknd’s impact on the city, stating: “London has been hugely proud to welcome The Weeknd for more shows than any other city in the world this year. His five performances have brought hundreds of thousands of fans to Wembley Stadium, providing a huge boost to our tourism and hospitality industries, and showing why London is the music capital of the world.”
The Weeknd’s time in London also drove a significant increase in his music consumption across the UK, generating over 11 million audio streams over the past week, up 55% compared to the previous four-week average. The Highlights, which has spent over 200 weeks in the UK Top 10 Official Chart, moved up to #8 this week in addition to six of his other albums making significant jumps in the Top 200, most notably Hurry Up Tomorrow album with over a 100% increase in sales. Several tracks saw renewed momentum on Spotify UK, led by “House Of Balloons / Glass Table Girls,” which entered the chart for the first time on Sunday and reached a new peak on Monday. “One Of The Girls” and “The Hills” also re-entered Spotify’s UK Top 200, while tracks including “Starboy,” “Blinding Lights” and “Timeless” climbed the chart.
The 2026 Europe and UK run marks the second time the After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour has crossed the region, following its sold-out 2023 leg, which included stops in Dublin, Stockholm, Madrid, Prague, and more. Notably, the record-breaking tour surpassed $1 billion in global gross last year following the addition of 2026 dates across Europe, the UK, and Latin America, with more than 7.5 million tickets sold across 153 shows, making it the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist. Since launching in 2022, the tour has visited North America, Europe, the UK, Latin America, and Australia, returning for second runs in every territory except Australia.
The European leg continues this Saturday with the first of two sold-out shows at Croke Park in Dublin, followed by final stops in Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon.
The After Hours Til Dawn Tour will then head to Asia for its final leg this fall, with stops in Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. Originally announced with 11 stadium shows, the run quickly expanded to 17 dates due to overwhelming demand, including additional performances in Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
As part of the After Hours Til Dawn 2026 Tour, The Weeknd is again partnering with Global Citizen to raise funds to provide access to quality education for children around the world through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. He will also continue to partner with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to provide funds to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which supports the organization’s response to the unprecedented global hunger crisis. €1 from each ticket sold across Europe and £1 in the UK will be donated to these two organizations. Fans will also have the opportunity to earn one pair of free tickets to each tour date by taking action to end extreme poverty with Global Citizen. For more information, visit www.globalcitizen.org.
