The sporty ID. Polo GTI – the first all-electric Volkswagen GTI, arriving 50 years after the original Golf GTI – will also be on display throughout the roadshow, as will the ID. Cross – Volkswagen’s new all-electric compact SUV – in London, Birmingham and Milton Keynes.

New era of Volkswagen cars
The ID. Polo is ushering in a new and exciting chapter for Volkswagen. It’s the first car to be built on the company’s MEB+ platform, which introduces new battery technology, faster charging, improved efficiency and updated software. Another benefit of the MEB+ platform that roadshow visitors will be able to see first-hand is space: the ID. Polo’s front-wheel drive configuration allows for lots of legroom for passengers and a generous 441-litre boot – that’s substantially larger than many of its rivals and an incredible 60 litres more than the current Volkswagen Golf.
The interior marks the beginning of a new blueprint for Volkswagen. It uses the brand’s new Pure Positive design language, with physical controls and easy-to-use digital displays. Older roadshow visitors may also appreciate the ID. Polo’s retro touches, which convert the car’s modern infotainment screen and digital cockpit to something reminiscent of the original Golf.
Depending on configuration, the ID. Polo offers a WLTP combined range of up to 281 miles, with direct current (DC) quick charging of 90 or 105 kW available as standard.
See the Volkswagen.co.uk website for more information about the all-new ID. Polo.
