Chicken Shop Date: Amelia Dimoldenberg Brings Final Series to Cinemas for One Night Only

Amelia Dimoldenberg, host of the iconic Chicken Shop Date YouTube series, has announced that the final series of her show will be brought together as one cinematic experience, featuring all six episodes of the final season alongside exclusive new material created especially for the release.

This is the first time that Chicken Shop Date has appeared on the big screen and will take audiences on a journey through Amelia’s decision to end the show, celebrating the world of Chicken Shop Date while exploring who Amelia is beyond the character.

The screening, which takes place for one night only on 24 November, culminates with the final unreleased episode, giving fans the chance to see it before anyone else. A celebration of everything Chicken Shop Date has been, and a final goodbye to one of the internet’s most beloved shows, for one night only.

Johnny Carr, Head of Event Cinema at Vue, said: “For over a decade, Amelia has entertained millions with her brilliantly awkward interviews and signature deadpan humour in Chicken Shop Date. What began as a fresh take on celebrity interviews has grown into a cultural phenomenon, building a passionate fanbase and creating countless must-watch moments.

“At Vue, we’re always looking for opportunities to bring audiences together around the stories, personalities and cultural moments they care about most. As Amelia prepares for the final season of the show, we’re delighted to be partnering with mk2 Film to celebrate its legacy on the big screen for the first time and give fans the chance to experience it together as a shared event.

“Following a year of box office success for films from YouTube creators, including The Amazing Digital Circus, Obsession, Iron Lung and Backrooms, this is another example of how the cinema experience continues to evolve, bringing online communities and digital-first talent into cinemas in exciting new ways.”
