Five Iron Golf celebrated the launch of its first UK venue with a Grand VIP Opening Party at its London Broadgate location.
The exciting new venue marked its arrival on the London social and entertainment scene with a special celebration hosted by the presenters of the Golf Is Ruining My Life podcast.

The packed party gave guests the chance to experience everything Five Iron Golf has brought to the capital, with an evening of virtual golf, interactive multi-sports, complimentary drinks, delicious food, competitions and entertainment.
Comedians Tom Green and Tom Price, presenters of the popular comedy sports podcast, entertained with their trademark humour adding to the celebrations.
Guests enjoyed complimentary drinks and food throughout the evening while exploring the 6,900-square-foot venue and trying out its state-of-the-art Trackman simulator bays.
While golf is at the heart of Five Iron, the opening party showcased just how much more the technology can do. Guests were able to take on friends at lots of other games including footgolf, zombie dodgeball, disc golf, hockey, bowling, basketball, clay pigeon shooting as well as football challenges including penalties, free-kicks and target practice.

There was plenty of competition on the golf side too, with guests invited to take part in a Closest to the Pin contest and battle it out for prizes on the night.
Eric Parker, CEO of Five Iron Golf, said: “The response since we opened our doors in London has been incredibly encouraging. We’ve loved seeing golfers, first-timers, colleagues and groups of friends all embrace what Five Iron is about. We’re building something that goes well beyond traditional golf, a place where people can play, eat, drink, compete and spend time together, and this party is a chance to celebrate that with London.”
The venue has been designed as a new social and entertainment destination for London, bringing together sport, games, food, drinks and live entertainment in one place.
Located at Broadgate Circle, 1 Finsbury Avenue, moments from Liverpool Street Station, Five Iron Golf’s first UK venue features eight Trackman golf simulators alongside a full-service bar and restaurant, with screens showing major live sport, including Premier League football and Formula 1.

Guests can play more than 400 of the world’s best-known golf courses through Trackman technology, with complimentary Callaway clubs available. But no golfing experience is required, with the venue designed to be just as much fun for complete beginners and groups looking for a night out as it is for experienced players.
Five Iron Golf began in New York in 2017 and has since grown into a global indoor golf and entertainment brand with more than 50 locations across 20 US states and seven countries. The London venue is the first under plans to open 10 Five Iron Golf locations across the UK.
