Taking to the stage at the infamous London venue, she delighted die-hard fans with a set packed with songs from the album, as well as her spin-off murder ballad EP, Lovebites. Vicious Delicious, which celebrates its first birthday this month, has amassed over 210 million streams. The Liverpool-born artist announced the show last week on social media, promising fans the chance to “disappear down the rabbit hole of decadence and debauchery”.
True to her word, she delivered an evening of theatre, storytelling, cabaret dancers, costume changes and pop culture references.
Taking to the stage with a glass of red wine in hand, amid screams from fans, she greeted her audience: “Welcome to the Vicious Delicious anniversary show. Let’s start at the beginning.”
Introducing the powerful fan favourite “Matador”, she divulged: “This song is about a strange and magical bar called the Kazimier Garden, and a strange and magical man who haunts me there.”
From there, she reeled off songs including the spine-tingling “Vampire At The Beach” from recent EP Lovebites, the moody “Love & Money” and her debut album’s title track, complete with a nod to The Cure’s “The Lovecats” piano riff in the outro.
Introducing a brand-new song, “Mademoiselle”, which was actually inspired by a trip to The Box, she told the audience, “We’re going to play a new song that I wrote just a few weeks ago in Hollywood. I haven’t been sharing much of this new record.”
Later, she recalled, “The last time I was in The Box, it was a fever dream. Delightful and disturbing. I came to as the bright lights were turned on at 6am dancing on a table top with the prince of Spain. Or France. It’s all a little blurry…”
The main set closed with a cascade of rose pedals as she performed “He’s My Man”, a song which hit 156,000,000 streams and sparked countless viral moments. The track’s anniversary version also featured a duet with punk poetry legend Dr John Cooper Clarke last year.
In an atmospheric interlude, amidst the stage’s eerie, Lynchian, red lighting, the band played an uncanny version of “Twin Peaks Theme” by Angelo Badalamenti.
During the encore, Luvcat welcomed onstage a troupe of cabaret dancers to help her close the set with a joyous encore of “Bad Books” and “Dinner @ Brasserie Zédel”.

Earlier this year, Luvcat gave fans a further taste of her debut’s world with Lovebites, a five-track spin-off EP featuring the aforementioned “He’s My Man (The Anniversary)”, alongside the spine-tingling epic ballad “Electric Chair,” featuring Peter Doherty. Far Out Magazine described the EP as a “grand portrayal of modern romance,” while CLASH called lead single “Vampire At The Beach” “a blood-soaked act of alt-pop seduction whose alluring images are contrasted with a lingering sense of darkness.”
Since her explosive debut single “Matador”, the Liverpool-born artist has seduced a fast-growing global fanbase with her blend of noir glamour, heart-on-sleeve vulnerability, and razor-sharp wit. 2025 saw the release of her first album, capturing a formative and fevered chapter in Luvcat’s life; from a romance with a circus ringleader to nights in Parisian bars along the Seine and impromptu sets at Brixton Windmill. The album flew to number 4 on the Official Independent Albums Chart.
Luvcat’s rise has been matched by relentless momentum onstage, with over 101 live performances across more than 25 countries in 2025, including 31 festivals, and standout appearances at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Radio 1’s Big Weekend, The Isle of Wight Festival, and Rock en Seine, where she opened the main stage for Chappell Roan. Last year also included sold-out headline tours across the UK, US, Europe (and even Istanbul), where tickets vanished within minutes and crowds arrived in her signature leopard print, fishnets, and red lipstick, already singing along to unreleased songs learned off by heart from bootlegged YouTube live sets. Her CV includes support slots with The Libertines and The Last Dinner Party, and she is set to open for Scottish rock legends The Waterboys. Luvcat was named among the most tipped artists for 2025 by Rolling Stone UK, Clash, Notion, Billboard UK, The Independent, and more. In 2025, Luvcat won the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award at the Northern Music Awards.
